Redcord is ISO Certified with an ISO 9001: 2015 approval.

In January, we launched our own Redcord training app with 350 sling exercises and training programs. Redcord training app is made in collaboration with Exorlive. Exercises appear as video with muscle illustrations and explanations. You can choose between English, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish and Finnish.

New PowerGrip is being launched. It has an elegant design, good quality, has a solid grip that enables rotation in the wrist in a better way than before.

2015
In April, Redcord Clinic moved to Høvik, a clinic adapted for Neurac treatment and training.

We have an increasing number of Certified Neurac Providers worldwide. More and more therapists now complete our Neurac courses to become certified.

In July we launched Redcord LITE. This is a reasonably priced and compact device for travel, cabin or home workout.

2014
Redcord has focused on quality and safety in 2014, we have conducted a comprehensive security campaign with advertising in several of Norway’s largest newspapers and sending security information to all known customers in Norway. In addition, similar information campaigns have been conducted in our distributor markets. The safety information is published and kept up to date on our website where safety testing, proper use, lifetime, and product inspection are described.

2013
Redcord AXIS was launched in autumn 2013. The design is professional, and the device’s function provides great opportunities for effective exercises in both treatment and training. The device is now included as a standard device in the workstation, which is sold to the therapist, and will be an entirely natural part of the product range, both among existing and new users.

We finished our new DVD, Redcord Trainer and Mini. It is now included in the home training packages as well as being able to purchase separately. This a DVD designed to provide knowledge-based guidance using Redcord slings to our private users.

2012
Redcord Stimula re-launched in selected international markets. Cooperation agreement signed with the Interventional Centre at Rikshospitalet University Hospital and the University of Oslo, Department of Psychology, to investigate the mechanism behind a documented experience of pain relief with the use of Neurac treatment including vibration apparatus Redcord Stimula. The focus is on identifying possible cortical mechanisms behind the improvement.

2011
The company implements a new marketing strategy based on the communication of three segments: Redcord Medical, Redcord Active and Redcord Sport. New website launched and systematic work with social media implementation.

The Course Portfolio for Neurac revised and updated, and a new training model with new courses launched. Systemization of Neurac testing procedures integrated into two Neurac courses. New courses for Redcord Active completed.

Redcord Stimula completed with additional features and improvements after four years of continuous product development. Preliminary information from the second study by Deborah Fallah using Neurac method and Redcord Stimula shows positive and significant results.
Study initiated on the preparation and testing of a treatment structure to see whether the rapid effect (response) often achieved with Neurac and Redcord Stimula may provide a basic standardized course of treatment. Study carried out with support from the public sector.

2010
Strategic decision taken to establish three main segments for communication purposes: Redcord Medical, Redcord Active and Redcord Sport. Development initiated of custom communications, product packages and courses related to each segment.

The first study of Neurac method and Redcord Stimula prepared by Deborah Fallah published. The study shows significant positive efficacy of the Neurac method and Redcord Stimula. Second study initiated in autumn 2010.

2009
The company’s strategic choices and direction thoroughly reviewed and evaluated. Restructuring of the company implemented. Neurac article prepared by Gitle Kirkesola published in the magazine Fysioterapeuten in December.

2008
In October, Eirik Lynghaug took over from Karl Rødland as the company’s CEO. The company elects a new board in December.

2007
Nordisk Terapi AS changes name to Redcord AS and product name TerapiMaster replaced by Redcord. S-E-T training (Sling Exercise Therapy) is replaced by the new Neurac courses. Redcord exports products and arranges courses for physical therapists in 20 countries. Largest export market is Japan.

After two years of development and testing, launching of the patented Redcord Stimula that increases the effectiveness of the Neurac method. Neurac treatment and Redcord Stimula give remarkable results and studies are implemented at universities in several countries. The patented Redcord Mini launches.

2005
Redcord Clinic established Redcord’s first clinic at Lysaker. Clinic’s purpose is to be the company’s center for professional development and training. Redcord Clinic specializes in Neurac treatment of patients with challenging muscle/skeletal pain.

2004
Neuromuscular Reactivation, later Neuromuscular Activation, both abbreviated to Neurac, established as a concept and defined as a technique within S-E-T. Neurac techniques are integrated as part of the SET-depth courses.

Neurac method (Neuromuscular Activation) developed under the guidance of a physiotherapist, manual therapist and department head Gitle Kirkesola after several years of continuous recording of clinical experience, research and studies. This new method shows that it is possible to achieve immediate impact in the treatment of back, neck and shoulder complaints.

2003
Launch of Redcord Trainer with instruction materials for home use. Sale starts through sports shops in Sports 1 and G-Sport stores.

Principles of neuromuscular training with Redcord developed gradually for more exercises and body areas. The theme of the seminar for update-SET therapists: Maximal Neuromuscular Recruitment (precursor to Neurac).

2002
Karl Petter Rødland becomes the company’s CEO.

SET Competence is established as a separate business unit to ensure the further development of concepts and knowledge dissemination. Program developed for certification of S-E-T trainers in Norway and abroad.

The first patient with “Neurac-income” (course participant with a shoulder injury since birth) treated by Gitle Kirkesola on a course in Alta.
Gitle then starts demonstrating how the effect can be achieved in shoulder disorders with “push-up plus” on the S-E-T-depth courses. Creation of subsidiaries in Germany and Sweden.

2001
Physiotherapist S-E-T scheme established to ensure the quality and contribute to further development of S-E-T treatment. Studies with the application of Redcord published including in Spin, and new studies initiated. Effect of suspension therapy shown to be excellent in both the short- and long-term.

1999
Treatment and training Redcord (TerapiMaster) systematized the concept S-E-T and gets very good reception in the field of physiotherapy. Groups are established that assist in further course and academic development.

1998
Introduction of the computer program TerapiMaster Praxis for the selection, editing and printing of personal training. The first computer program with exercises presented in progressions and protocols.

1996
Work begins on the development of courses for physiotherapists. Cooperation agreements signed with external training providers who participate in this development.

TerapiMaster workstation for physical therapy introduced, including sliding bracket.

1993
Firm changes its name to Nordisk Terapi and the product to TerapiMaster. The focus is more on the development of equipment and method as an effective tool for physical therapy.
First study conductedto examine the effect of home training with TerapiMaster.

First complete year in the training market as TrimMaster. Physiotherapists applaud the possibilities provided by slings as a treatment tool.

1991
Redcord AS is established under the name TrimMaster by Petter, Grete and Tore Planke. Builder and former gymnast Kåre Mosberg was the inventor of the patented device. When Petter Planke founded the company he had been plagued by repeated acute back problems for over 20 years. After consulting physiotherapists at Sentrum Fysikalske in Asker and contacting Dr. Odd Kogstad at Aust-Agder Sentralsykehus, he saw the potential in the invention as a tool in physical therapy and as training equipment in the home for the prevention of back pain and retroactive ailments. Petter Planke is living proof that the training works: his back is strong and pain-free. Tore Planke has always been responsible for the technical development and the company’s patents.
